The Art and Writing of Emily Cumming Harris

A very enthusiastic crowd assembled in person and on-line to hear  Michele Leggott and Catherine Field-Dodgson discuss their detective work in piecing together the work of botanical artist, Emily Cumming Harris and her work held at the Turnbull Library. People present were invited to view some of the botanical drawings in the presenters’ collection. After a splendid talk there was a lively question time where we all learned more about the processes involved in bringing these drawings into print.
